Three zone furnace and controller

Description
  • Two separate clam shells, individually wired.
  • Designed for use with Si-Plan extensometer.
  • Easily adjustable mounting brackets.
    Application
    Ideal for medium and high temperature alloy material testing.
    Construction
  • Stainless steel outer case.
  • 110V open elements for minimal thermal lag and maximum thermal efficiency. Elements easily replaced.
    Electrical supply
  • Single phase 230 VAC electrical supply with maximum continuous current rating of 16 amps.
    Operating Temperature
  • Fully variable from ambient to1100°C.
  • Three temperature zones (minimises conduction losses and power consumption).
  • Furnace Dimensions
  • Single phase operation.
  • 110V isolated output for safety.
  • Eurotherm controller.
  • Electrical input to furnace via detachable multiway connectors for ease of mounting.
  • Independent 1250°C over temperature trip built into furnace wall.
  • Individual zone control for 3 zones
  • Temperature set point:
    either local (Eurotherm)
    or remote via a 0 - 10V external input
    which may be
  • programmed to cycle through a sequence of temperatures;
  • related to another applied parameter, eg load or strain.
