Dynamically rated for 210 bar supply allowing a Dp = 70 bar across the servo valve (static = dynamic x 1.5).

Built-in excluder seals and dribble lines.

Servo valve

Standard servo valve for testing frequencies up to 70 Hz.

High response servo valve for testing frequencies up to 100 Hz
(providing an adequate oil supply is ensured).
Load cell
The load cell is fitted to the top crosshead and is fatigue-rated in line with the specified actuator.
Displacement measurement
The actuator has an integral displacement transducer.
Frame

Fixed central crosshead mounting the servo actuator.

Movable top crosshead clamped by pinch bolts.

Two 100mm diameter chromed solid steel columns.

Standard column length: 2200mm.
(1100mm maximum daylight space).

Clearance between columns: 500mm

Different column lengths available on request.
Controller
Controller options:

Digital controller based on an embedded RISC processor with a PC with Windows-based software as user interface. (See Digital Controller data sheet.)

50kN servo-hydraulic test machine fitted with optional hydraulic side rams to move the top crosshead.

Hydraulic supply Options: Frame may be used with a suitable existing hydraulic supply. Frame may be purchased with a Si-Plan hydraulic power pack. (See Hydraulic Power Pack data sheet.)

Si-Plan 20 litre/minute fixed delivery hydraulic power pack with air blast cooling.
Accessory options Second load cell with range suitable for low load work. Grips - Ball nut and ball cup. - Plate. - Wood's metal pot. Extensometers: - room temperature. - high temperature.
